This brooch is stunning! Photos don't do it justice. From the milky pink galaxy look faux opal center to the surrounding faux pearls and emeralds this lovely goldtone brooch is one of those pieces that will never go out of style. Based on the style, and various design elements and hardware I would estimate this piece to be circa the 1950s. It has aged well but there are some signs of it's age on the back side of the brooch as you would expect for a brooch of it's age. The stunning glass faux opal center will have you bewitched.
