The British Moccasin originated from the most primitive slippers made in the southwest of England, Somerset, in the 1700s. The current design was created as souvenir slippers in the 1960s when tourism in Britain was booming, and they have been handmade in a Northampton, England factory for generations. Made of strong and soft leather, the technique has been passed down to the present day, and they have been made for 60 years without changing since the founding.
